SANTA ROSA VALLEY
- INFORMATION WEBSITE -

This Website is designed to offer Information Distribution Services to property owners and residents of the Santa Rosa Valley. It is a volunteer effort provided by Jim Fortney, a homeowner in the Valley, and will be offered as long as it has value and is not abused.

The Website operates in conjunction with eMail distribution services (including a BLOG) provided for the benefit of the Santa Rosa Valley community. These are non-commercial efforts and contain no advertising. NOTE: We are unable to control advertising added to emails by ISP's.

The current services are:

SantaRosaValley - a oneway Newsletter / Announcement service offering Bulletin type eMail about Civic and Government Activities and Events which affect or involve the Valley. This Reflector is open to all interested individuals.

SRV BLOG - a BLOG (that can be syndicated) for Residents who want to participate in group discussions about affairs that affect our Valley. Residents may either register for both services or for just the Announcement Service.

Additional information on these and other services can be found on the Reflector Page.

As of November 2009 the old SRV-L Reflector was replaced with the BLOG started in March of this year. The BLOG is intended to encourage two-way discussion of subjects of interest to the whole Valley. The initial topics for the BLOG were oriented around operation of the new Traffic Signals on Santa Rosa Road. Additional topics are added as interest is expressed.

Click on BLOG in the Menu frame to get started. This is a public BLOG, but you will have to Register if you want to Post or Comment. Everyone is reminded that this is a family site and rude behavior or profane language will be the basis for exclusion. Happy BLOGGING

Do you have an item that should be posted on the Web Page or distributed on the Announcements Reflector? Please send the details to Jim Fortney. Jim will review the item as soon as he can and either post it or contact you to discuss the appropriate handling. Please remember this is a volunteer effort and he may not get back to you immediately.

This Website and these other services are a relatively simple start for what could be a very valuable information resource for the Valley. Time will be spent on expanding this Website if and when it turns out to be accepted and has value to the community. If you have an idea on what should be included, please pass it on. Please also let your neighbors know about this Website so they may join us too.(8/99)
